AC Shadows Introduces Bizarre Attack on Titan Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a unexpected partnership that breaks usual expectations, the game developer has announced an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the darkness." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine group.
The questline centers on "bizarre tests and a terrifying enemy" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Recognizable Locations and Changes
The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will obtain an unique katana in addition to multiple objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
